Welcome to the Simonton House established in 1910 and on the National Registry of Historic Places. The Queen Anne home is the most beautiful home in the quaint and friendly historic town of Micanopy, established in 1821. The beautiful Simonton House is surrounded by 1.15 acres of lush gardens, moss laden oaks, gorgeous magnolias and fruit trees. Original hardwood floors, six fireplaces, large porches and social areas, grand parlor, updated kitchen with cherry cabinets & granite, stainless steel appliances & gas stove.  Called and named by its original owner "The House By the Side of the Road" from Sam Walters Foss's poem, you can "...live in my house by the side of the road and be a friend to man."
